Support is urgently needed for the new "Fellowship Of Peace" Church:
As many of you know, Shalom Outreach, Inc. recently completed yet another mission to Uganda. During that
trip, we were blessed to successfully plant the Fellowship Of Peace Church.
As you might expect, church planting is one of the most powerful, far-reaching and long-lasting actions that can be
accomplished for the Kingdom - and, one that we surely are called to.
Christian friends, while church-planting is indeed cause for great celebration, it also entails so much more than just selecting a Pastor and opening the doors. Until you've traveled outside of the US to places like Uganda, it can be difficult to fully comprehend what real devastating poverty is. Many of these Christians are literally starting with nothing more than their love for Christ and the willingness to be used for his purposes.
Below, is a listing of the needs that have thus far been identified. Beneath that, is a brief audio presentation that we've prepared in an effort to convey some of this absolutely critical information in a way that we hope is a bit more personal than the printed word.
Need for a Public Address system. Estimated cost: $2,600.
Support the pastor. Estimated cost: $200 per month.
Construction of a covered church building. Estimated cost: $17,000 complete.
The purchase of Bibles at $100 for lots of 30 each.
