How to Travel With Shalom:

For all mission trips, the requirements are:

1. Get your Passport: To learn how to get or renew a U.S. passport visit »» http://http://travel.state.gov

2. Submit:

A: A completed »» Short-Term Volunteer Application.

B: 2 copies of passport.

C: 2 passport photos (passport pictures only, no other kinds of snapshots are acceptable).

D: Non-refundable $500.00 deposit at the time of submitting application.

3. Recommended Shots:

For Africa: refer to "Centers for Disease Control and Prevention" »» http://www.cdc.gov/travel/destinat.htm

For Southeast Brazil: no special shots are required other than routine immunizations.

4. Visas: African visas are included in the shown cost of the trip and obtained at the port of entry. In the case of Brazil, a visa should be applied for by the missionary. Please visit »» http://www.brasilemb.org for requirements.

5. Attend the provided Pre-Deployment Training Sessions
