Our commitment to financial integrity:
We believe that tithing is a responsibility of a believer to their local church, whereas giving is a believer's responsibility above his tithe to distribute his resources as God would direct him. Thus, we will never encourage believers to support Shalom Outreach at the expense of supporting their local church.
We believe that it is important to maintain our Christian witness before the world and in the eyes of the government. Thus, we will provide receipts for tax purposes for every tax deductible gift.
We believe we are accountable to God and to fellow believers for the responsible use of our resources. Thus, we will use the resources that God provides in accordance with biblical and practical stewardship. An annual audit of the ministry by an independent accounting firm will be provided to all who request it.
We believe that it is a blessing for all Christians to be able to share in a responsible ministry through their financial giving, and therefore share in the fruit of that ministry. Thus, we will make our needs known in an honest and straightforward manner, trusting that God will provide for this outreach.
We believe it is important to remain committed to evangelizing in as many places as the Lord and our resources will allow. Thus, revenue above the cost of operations will be used to create new avenues for Christian mission trips, the teaching of biblical principles, and equipping pastors with ministry tools that will facilitate growth.
