From the Director's desk: Greetings friends, I wish to take this opportunity to both welcome you to our web site and express my gratitude to the hundreds of short-term missionaries who have traveled to the nations under the banner of our ministry. While we do take some time to enjoy ourselves and learn about and explore out surroundings, the work that we do is never easy. It requires one to step outside of one's "comfort zone" and leave all that is familiar behind for a time and minister to the spiritual and physical needs of others - something that the popular culture that most of us live in does a poor job of preparing us for. No, work that has such a lasting and far-reaching impact on real lives is never easy; but it's always worth it! Each of you have made the advancement of our vision possible as you trusted us to create a platform from which your ministry gifts have been used to win the lost, heal the sick and restore the broken pieces in peoples lives. We never take that sacred trust for granted - thank you! We are especially endebted to churches and covenant partners who have prayerfully and financially stood with us through the tough times of pioneering this work. God has been faithful to keep us on course toward our destiny. We are grateful for all of the achievements we have realized and we are confident that the best is yet to come. It is our prayer that this site and our ministry as a whole will be a source of encourgement and support to your ministry goals. We work hard every day to make it a resource to which you will turn again and again as you broaden and deepen your church or organization's own ministry programs. Be sure to take some time to visit the Shalom Institute for access to valuable and useable tools and information.
